Ancient Athenians celebrated the sowing of the vines with theatre contests in the winter solstice. In the spirit of Rural Dionysia, we too want to fill our January with lots of theatre (and wine - 2020’s been a long one ok?).
Imaginarium is calling all thespians and dramaturgs to enter our Monologue Competition: Gearing up for the New Year! This is a chance to showcase your work, win some cool prizes, and start the year with a little art & joy (and wine)
Writers will submit new, original monologues and and actors will perform them in front of a live virtual audience on January 17, 2021 at 7 pm EST who will vote for their favorite monologue and favorite performance!
Tickets for this event are free!
The Team at Imaginarium promises to be sober for most of the selection, production, and competition hosting processes.
