WHEN WILL THE PLAY LINE-UP BE ANNOUNCED?

WHAT IS IMAGINARIUM RAISING FUNDS FOR?

Imaginarium Theatre Company Inc. is a registered nonprofit. We are raising funds for future theatrical productions and our philanthropic initiatives.

WILL CREATIVE COLLABORATORS RECEIVE COMPENSATION?

Yes. All collaborators will receive a portion of the ticket sales.

CAN WRITERS/DIRECTORS/ACTORS SUBMIT TO THE FESTIVAL AS A PREFORMED TEAM?

We will take note of preferences and recommendations. However, we ask all directors and writers to take each actor into account equally.

WRITERS

WHAT CAN I SUBMIT TO THE FESTIVAL?

Full length plays, one act plays, and short plays. Multiple submissions accepted, but please send separately. Completed works only.

HOW DO I SUBMIT?

CAN I SUBMIT PREVIOUSLY PRODUCED WORK?

As long as you own the rights - yes.

CAN I SUBMIT A MUSICAL?

We would love to have your musical, however given the new online state of theatre, we are ill-equipped to help you produce it. Therefore, you may submit a musical if you are already confident in how to produce a musical online.

WHAT IF MY PLAY IS IN A NON-ENGLISH LANGUAGE?

We love all languages! Our submission team is only proficient in English, French, and Spanish. If your play is not in any of these three, you are welcome to submit it either way but please include an English synopsis.

HOW ARE YOU SELECTING DIRECTORS?

We are interviewing directors over Zoom on October 21 at 6 pm ET.

HOW DO I SIGN UP FOR AN INTERVIEW?

Interviews are on a first come, first serve basis. You can sign up for a slot here.

WHAT IF I CAN’T MAKE IT ON OCTOBER 21?

Email us and we’ll do our best to schedule you on another date.

DO I NEED TO SUBMIT ADDITIONAL MATERIAL?

Please email us your résumé and website/portfolio (if available).

ACTORS

HOW ARE YOU CASTING THE PLAYS?

We are holding open calls over Zoom on October 23 and 24 at 6 pm ET.

HOW DO I SIGN UP TO AUDITION?

Interviews are on a first come, first serve basis. You can sign up for a slot here.

WHAT DO I PREPARE?

If you have signed up for an audition, we will email you sides prior to your audition. Please select whichever two sides you prefer regardless of gender identity.

WHAT IF I COULDN’T GET A TIME SLOT?

We will do our best to ensure you are seen during open calls, however, if we are unable to fit you in, please email us a self-tape of your audition.

WHAT IF I CAN’T MAKE IT TO AUDITIONS?

We strongly recommend that you audition live on open call dates so that we can get to know you a bit better. However, if you cannot make it, please email us a self-tape of your audition with the subject line “IFF Self Tape.” Please provide a YouTube link of your audition (a maximum of two of the sides provided) and fill out this Google form.

Please submit your self-tape on October 24 at 9 pm ET at the latest, but preferably before open calls so we can take a look at it along with the other candidates.
