Imaginarium Theatre Company is committed to promoting diversity and inclusivity in the theatre; this starts with the next generation of theatre-makers. We want to help ensure that theatre programs across the globe are filled with students of all backgrounds, genders, races, ethnicities, and abilities. Unfortunately, the admissions process for these programs is currently set up in a way that puts less privileged applicants at a notorious disadvantage: performing arts training, experience, and audition coaching are not equally accessible for everyone.

We believe that no one should be prevented from having an education, and confidently auditioning for that education, because of a lack of means or other social disadvantages.

Therefore, we are excited to offer pay-what-you-can, donation-based coaching sessions. For each session you pay whatever amount you can; if you are unsure of how much to pay, our suggested rate is $1.00 per minute of coaching. When making your donation please add a note specifying that your donation is for our DSAE. All donations we receive will be split 50/50 between your instructor and Imaginarium to help keep this program running.

What are your credentials and How exactly can you help me in my drama school application?

Imaginarium was founded by current students and recent graduates of New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts. Having successfully and recently gone through the drama school admissions process, we believe we have unique insights that can help you navigate this daunting but exciting journey!

We will help you select and work on your audition material, demystify the audition process, and answer any questions you may have about drama school.

College auditions are not just about nailing your monologue and embodying a role, they’re about introducing who you are through your art. While it is important to show range and variety with your monologue and/or song selections, the most important part is the work you put into them. Since the purpose of your audition is to show colleges who you are, we will help you approach your character and text in a way that is truthful to you.

What if I have zero experience in performing arts? What if I have some or a lot of experience?

We will always strive to meet you where you are. Whether this is your first time looking at a script or you’re a seasoned performer just looking for an extra pair of eyes on your materials, we will work with you! No matter your experience level, we look forward to helping you in your artistic journey!

Where Are The Sessions?

We recommend Zoom, but we can also do Skype, FaceTime, or whichever telecom platform you prefer!

is there a SUGGESTED PRICING?

Our suggested rate is of $1.00 per 1 minute of coaching.

You can pay as little or as much as you want; Imaginarium will not deny the provision of coaching services or provide a different quality service for paying less or more than the suggested rate.
